WARNING! So apparently, A-Channel in Canada has decided not to air America's Next Top Model until Thursday, instead of Wednesday, so if you haven't seen the finale yet, you should totally stop reading. If, however, you did catch the finale because of your awesome cable package or you understand how this magical thing called the Internet works, go nuts.
SPOILERS TO FOLLOW!
So I think it's been pretty darn obvious for the last few weeks that McKey was going to win. While Analeigh was my favourite and I think she's gorgeous, even I have to admit she's not really model material, and Sam takes pretty pictures, but in person is just a deep fried mess. Out of the final three - and in fact, out of pretty much all the girls who have ever been on America's Next Top Model - McKey was the only one who could really pass for a model. Well, except for when she smiles, which seriously skeeves me out.

I think the fact that that it took me 20 minutes to find even one photo of her smiling is pretty telling. But yeah, when she's not flashing that scary Joker mouth, girl looks fierce.

I mean, damn. Sam and Analeigh didn't stand a chance.
Going into the finale, I was absolutely positive that it would be a McKey/Analeigh final two, especially since they had to do another CoverGirl ad and Analeigh friggin' rocked that shiz the first time around and Sam is basically a huge spaz. And then... Analeigh blanked. Couldn't remember four little lines, one of which was "Easy, breezy, beautiful: CoverGirl!" She said she kept waking up during the night, screaming out her lines in Dutch... even though only one line was in dutch. It's four lines! I once memorized an entire semester's worth of material in ONE NIGHT for my Political Science exam after not going to class once, and I got an A-. (Uh, I mean, I never skipped class! Stay in school, kids!) So Analeigh's commercial was so horrid that even the judges, with their "we forgot about you" and "you've lost your sparkle" justifications for eliminating someone, couldn't figure out a way to keep her on. Which meant the final two were McKey and Sam.

Not that Analeigh had a chance against McKey either, but at least with a McKey/Analeigh final two, we could at least pretend it wasn't a foregone conclusion. Sam, bless her heart, was completely out of her league. (Oh, and it was hilarious to see them bring back Whitney and make such a big deal out of what a great model she's become, only to not show her at all during the final fashion show.)
So that's it for this season of America's Next Top Model. It wasn't particularly exciting or even vaguely interesting, but at least the right girl won. Oh, and the entire season of blah was completely worth it for the few minutes of Tyra's MOST INSANE OUTFIT EVER:

Thank you, Tyra. Thank you.
